Chemistry Minor

Chemistry Minor

A chemistry minor prepares students with an understanding of the fundamentals of chemistry as well as giving them experience with organic, inorganic, physical, and biochemistry. A minor could help prepare studies for graduate school in the natural sciences or medicine.

Careers with a Chemistry Minor

Graduates will gain a basic understanding in chemistry which could complement their major area of study and enable students to think in a more interdisciplinary manner. Examples of careers that could benefit from a minor in chemistry include medicine, pharmacy, biomedical research, law (especially patent law in the sciences) and chemical, civil and biomedical engineering.
