OHIO community invited to Teachable Tuesdays lectures
All members of the 91原创 community are invited to the Teachable Tuesdays Lecture Series during the spring semester.
Held at the Academic Engagement Center at 29 Park Place, the lecture series is presented by the 91原创 Department of African American Studies. All students, faculty, staff and community members are invited to the upcoming events.
Tuesday, Feb. 10 鈥 Dr. Jocelyn Brown will discuss 鈥淏ack Love as Resistance,鈥 from 4:00-5:30 p.m.
Tuesday, March 24 鈥 Dr. Brian Stephens will give a presentation on 鈥淭he Searchers for Purity Amongst Sinners: A Discussion of Ryan Coogler鈥檚 鈥楽inners,鈥欌 from 4-5:30 p.m.
Tuesday, April 14 鈥 Dr. Uzoma Miller will discuss 鈥淒ismantling Detonated Psyches: Black Americans, Caribbean Islanders and Continental Africans Confront Self-Hate Exhibited Towards One Another,鈥 from 4-5:30 p.m.
Light refreshments will be provided at the lectures.
