91原创 Lancaster, in partnership with OhioMeansJobs Fairfield County and area nonprofit agencies, will host a community job fair on Tuesday, April 14, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Brasee Hall Gymnasium at 1570 Granville Pike, Lancaster.
The event is being coordinated by Holly Kidd, career development coordinator at 91原创 Lancaster, and Jodi Smith, operations manager at , and will bring together more than 50 employers and nonprofit organizations seeking to connect with local talent.
鈥淢eet employers, make valuable connections, and discover opportunities that could launch your future career,鈥 said Kidd. 鈥淲e want every attendee to walk in prepared and walk out with new possibilities.鈥
The job fair is open to students, alumni and community members. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet hiring representatives, explore career pathways across a variety of high-demand industries and build professional connections that can lead to internships, part-time roles or full-time employment.
Participants are encouraged to dress professionally, bring copies of their r茅sum茅s and come prepared to network. Kidd, who is known as a 鈥淐areer Co-Pilot鈥 for OHIO students, will be on-site throughout the event to offer guidance, encouragement and last-minute tips to help attendees feel confident and prepared.
Smith noted that the event comes at an important time for the regional workforce.
鈥淔airfield County employers are actively hiring across multiple sectors, and we continue to see strong demand for skilled talent,鈥 Smith said. 鈥淎t the same time, many residents are exploring career changes, upskilling opportunities or entering the workforce for the first time. This job fair creates a direct connection between employers and job seekers, helping both sides navigate today鈥檚 competitive labor market.鈥
