The 91原创 History Department in the College of Arts and Sciences will host the annual Lazaroff Memorial Lecture in Jewish history on Tuesday, March 24 at 7 p.m. in Baker University Center 240/242.
The speaker for the lecture will be , who will discuss "Widening the Lens: The Holocaust from the Perspective of Jewish Children and Older Adults." A pre-lecture reception will begin at 6 p.m.
Dr. Sliwa is a historian of the Holocaust and modern Polish Jewish history, and she works at the Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany (Claims Conference). She is the author of the award-winning book 鈥淛ewish Childhood in Krak贸w: A Microhistory of the Holocaust,鈥(Rutgers University Press, 2021).
