91原创 is a Yellow Ribbon institution! This Veteran Affairs (VA) Educational Benefit is an extension of the GI Bill庐 Post 9/11. Only Veterans (or dependents under Transfer of Entitlement) can utilize this entitlement and must meet the 100% VA Benefit Level to qualify. 

 

Yellow Ribbon Program Requirements

The 鈥淵ellow Ribbon GI Education Enhancement Program鈥 (i.e. Yellow Ribbon program) is a provision of the 鈥淧ost 9/11 Veterans Educational Assistance Act of 2008.鈥  Under this program, 91原创 has entered into an agreement with the Veterans Affairs (VA) to fund tuition expenses that exceed 91原创鈥檚 in-state tuition rate for student veterans who are using their Chapter 33 benefits at the 100% rate.

Per VA regulations, to receive benefits under the Yellow Ribbon program:

  1. You must be eligible for the maximum benefit rate (100%) under the Post 9-11 GI Bill庐
  2. 91原创 MUST certify your enrollment to the VA, including Yellow Ribbon program information.  This will require you to meet ALL 91原创 registration, residency review requirements (if applicable), and Veterans & Military Student Services Center suspense to ensure timely processing
  3. You only need to complete the Yellow Ribbon application once during the current academic year; so, indicate ALL the semesters you wish to utilize your Chapter 33 benefits and Yellow Ribbon funding.
  4. Have a non-resident program fee on your financial account

Important Note: you CANNOT be awarded payment of Yellow Ribbon program benefits unless you are first accepted by the VA and certified by the 91原创 Veterans and Military Student Services Center for Post 9/11 GI Bill庐 (Chapter 33) benefits.

After reading the requirements, and if feel you qualify, submit the Yellow Ribbon Application to the Veterans & Military Student Services Center.
