The curricula for graduate degrees in computer science are dependent on your individualized program of study. This full-time program is located at the Athens campus, and offers thesis and non-thesis project options. Normative time to completion is two years.

About Advising, Committee & Program of Study
The Computer Science M.S. requires a minimum of 30 credit hours (thesis option) or 36 credit hours (non-thesis option).
Computer Science Master of Science degree students take graduate-level work in computer science that builds a foundation for the discipline鈥攖he theory of computation, algorithm design, and operating systems. Students then take coursework that builds a depth of understanding of computer science. Students select from graduate courses in artificial intelligence, bioinformatics, computer graphics, computer networking, computational complexity, medical imaging, real-time systems, parallel computing, and software engineering.

Admission and support such as tuition scholarships, research and teaching assistantships are competitive. Letters of recommendation, undergraduate transcripts, grade point average (GPA), GRE, and TOEFL scores are all considered when determining an application fee waiver, admission, and financial support.
