Publish Open Access in ACS Journals - Free for 91Ô´´ Researchers
OhioLINK, Ohio’s statewide academic library consortium, is pleased to announce a new addition to its read-and-publish open access agreements with major publishers.
The American Chemical Society (ACS) Journals now join other publishers in a read-and-publish agreement. 91Ô´´ researchers, both faculty and graduate students, will be able to publish in any of ACS’s hybrid journals with no article processing charges (APCs). And to our delight, there is no limit on the number of open access articles that may be published under this agreement!
To be eligible, the corresponding author must be an 91Ô´´ affiliate and use their 91Ô´´ email address when submitting the article. The ACS submission system will automatically identify eligibility for open access publishing. Once eligibility is confirmed by University Libraries staff, the article will be published open access at no cost to the author!
More information about this process is available on the University Libraries’ Support for Open Access Article Fees page.
The new agreement also provides full text access to all 29 ACS Journals, offering researchers broader reading access to ACS content than previously available!
Ohiolink currently has agreements with Biomed Central, Springer and SpringerOpen, Cambridge University Press, Elsevier, IOP (Institute of Physics) and Wile. 91Ô´´ Libraries also have agreement with the Company of Biologists for open access publishing in their journals. Information about all of 91Ô´´â€™s open access agreements can be found on the Libraries’ Support for Open Access Article Fees page.
