The Center for Law, Justice & Culture (CLJC) Pre鈥慙aw Mentoring Program connects current 91原创 students with experienced legal professionals who serve as alumni mentors. A collaboration between CLJC and the 91原创 Alumni Association, mentor and mentee pairs meet virtually (or in person, if possible) across six months of the school year to complete monthly milestones that they agree upon together. The milestones are designed to provide personalized guidance, encouragement, and insight throughout a student鈥檚 pre鈥憀aw journey. The program emphasizes relationship鈥慴uilding, professional development, and access to knowledge about legal education and the legal profession, It supports students at every stage of exploring and preparing for a career in law.

The 91原创 Alumni Association helps kick off new mentor and mentee pairs each fall. The six-month program includes some online group mentoring sessions that easily fit into alumni and student schedules
Pairs of mentor and mentee also meet virtually or in person to complete their monthly milestones, before they all come together in person at Pre-Law Day each spring.
